Every design is printed on the same shirt: a Comfort Colors 1717. We picked one blank and stayed on it, so the only thing that changes from design to design is what it says.
The blank
Garment-dyed, 6.1 oz/yd² (206.8 g/m²), pre-shrunk 100% ring-spun US cotton. Relaxed unisex fit, double-needle stitched throughout, no side seams.
It is a heavyweight, and you can tell the moment you pick it up. Most printed tees are built on something lighter and cheaper, because the blank is the easiest place to save money and the hardest place for a customer to check. It is also the difference between a shirt that keeps its shape for years and one that goes thin and shapeless by the end of the summer.
Garment-dyed means the shirt is dyed after it is sewn rather than the yarn being dyed first. That is what gives it the soft, slightly lived-in hand straight out of the bag instead of after twenty washes, and it is why the color reads a little deeper and less uniform than a standard tee. Small variation between shirts is a property of the process, not a defect.
The print
Direct-to-garment, printed large across the back. Nothing on the chest.
That is a deliberate format, not a shortcut. The design is a line you want read, and the back is where it actually gets read — walking away, sitting turned around, in a queue. It also means you can wear it into a room without announcing yourself on the way in.
A full back print uses several times the ink of a small chest logo. It is the entire reason to own the shirt, so it does not get scaled down to save money.
Made to order
Nothing is warehoused. Your shirt is printed after you order it, in your size and color. There is no old stock to clear, which is why there are no seasonal sales and why nothing here is ever discounted to shift it.

Looking after it
Wash it inside out, cold, with like colors. Garment-dyed cotton can give up a little dye on its first wash, so give the first one its own load. Tumble dry low. No bleach. Do not iron directly on the print.
Treated that way the print stays put and the shirt gets better, which is the point of buying this blank rather than a cheaper one.
