Why is the print on the back?
Because that is where it gets read. Walking away, sitting turned around, standing in a queue, the back is in someone's eyeline for a lot longer than your chest is. It also means you can wear it into a room without announcing yourself on the way in.
There is nothing printed on the front. That is deliberate, not an oversight.
What shirt is it?
A Comfort Colors 1717. Garment-dyed, 6.1 oz/yd², pre-shrunk 100% ring-spun US cotton, relaxed unisex fit, no side seams, double-needle stitched. It is a heavyweight and you can tell as soon as you pick it up. More on the shirt.
Does every design come on the same shirt?
Yes. One blank, one standard, across the whole range. The only thing that changes between designs is what it says.
How does it fit?
Relaxed. The straight, side-seamless cut means it hangs rather than tapering in at the waist. Take your usual size for a normal fit, size up if you want it properly oversized. It is pre-shrunk, so it will not drop a size in the wash. Sizing & fit.
What colors are there?
White, black and granite. Every design comes in all three.
Why does my shirt look slightly different to the photo?
Garment-dyeing dyes the shirt after it is sewn rather than dyeing the yarn first. It gives a deeper, less uniform color and a softer hand, and it means small variation between individual shirts is normal. It is a property of the process, not a fault.
How should I wash it?
Inside out, cold, with like colors. Garment-dyed cotton can give up a little dye on its first wash, so give the first one its own load. Tumble dry low, no bleach, and do not iron directly on the print.
How much is shipping?
Free, on every order, with no minimum to hit. We ship within the United States only for now.
When will it arrive?
There are two stages, because your shirt does not exist until you order it.
- Printing. Allow up to 10 business days. It is usually quicker, but that is the outside figure and we would rather quote it straight than have you watching the door.
- Delivery. 3 to 5 business days once it ships.
You get a tracking number by email the moment it leaves the print floor.
Can I return it, or swap it for a different size or color?
No. Your shirt is printed for you after you order it, in that size and that color, so there is no stock for it to go back into and nothing we can do with it afterwards. That applies to change of mind, wrong size, and wrong color alike.
This is the one real trade-off of buying something made to order rather than pulled off a shelf, so please get the size right before you buy. The sizing guide is short and honest, and if you are between sizes or unsure, email us first. We would far rather answer that email than have you stuck with a shirt that does not fit.
Something arrived damaged or wrong
That is the one thing we do take back, and you are covered properly.
If your order turns up misprinted, damaged or not what you ordered, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo showing the problem. We need the photo as proof, and then it is a free replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer. Do not post the shirt back to us. Keep it either way.
Do you restock?
There is nothing to restock, nothing is made in advance. Yours gets printed when you buy it, in your size and color.
Do you run sales?
No. There is no old stock to clear, so there is nothing to discount. Everything is the same price all the time.
Can I ask about something else?
Yes, get in touch. It is a one-person operation, so you are emailing the person who made the shirt.
