The writing comes out of going out — clubs, festivals, the walk home, the part of the night where everyone is being slightly more honest than usual. It is not written for a group chat that has been running since 2009. There is no joke in here about how you had to be there in the nineties, and there never will be. Nothing we make is a test of how long you have been going out.
